We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure proper running of BSFP activities such as systematic malnutrition screening of the U2 children & PLW, referral for malnourished detected cases, registration of beneficiaries enrolled in the BSFP, regular follow up of U2 & PLW in the BSFP.
  • Ensure proper running of TSFP Activities such as screening of U5 & PLW.
  • Work in close collaboration with Community Nutrition Volunteers (CNVs) to conduct registration and verification of BSFP beneficiaries using the standard registration materials in close collaboration with local authorities.
  • Assist the Community Nutrition Volunteers (CNVs) in organizing community meetings, workshops, and campaigns.
  • Tracking of all BSFP commodities from WFP warehouse to the targeted Focal Distribution Point, transportation, offloading and finally distribution to targeted beneficiaries.
  • Organize, arrange and supervise the distribution of BSFP commodities to the beneficiaries in the right entitlements as per the laid down protocols.
  • Follow up to ensure that all reports at field level are accurately prepared and submitted to the BSFP officer on a timely basis.
  • To collect the monthly reports from community health volunteers, revise them and provide feedback to the field team.
  • Conduct frequent field visits to the targeted locations and provide a report with the outcome of the visits.
  • Maintain proper filing systems and storage of all project documents, reports and other relevant technical materials (both hard and soft copies).
  • Perform any other related duties as requested by direct line supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Should be a Bachelor Degree of Medical Doctor, Nutritionist and Public Health.
  • At least two years of relevant experience in the Health – Nutrition.
