About FMF:

The Field Medical Foundation (FMF) has been operating in Yemen for since 2012 during even the most dangerous peak of the conflict in the region. Our staff of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers are the helping hand that delivers aid from local and/or international partners to those who require it the most, in a country that was already suffering before the war. Today we have helped humanitarian aid reach the hands of more than 9 million vulnerable people in Yemen to help them not only to survive but also to rebuild their lives. We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting project activities in the field.
  • Supervising volunteers in the field
  • Follow-up and raise volunteer success stories under the supervision of the governorate coordinator
  • Raising awareness in the project areas about nutrition, health and hygiene.
  • Assisting health workers in recovering the defaulter cases.
  • Improving knowledge and practices of hygiene, health and nutrition in their communities.
  • Follow-up of malnutrition cases in all children U5 by volunteers in the field
  • Helping in the work of campaigns, festivals and discussion panels in the community by volunteers
  • Helping community mobilize to change bad habits among communities.
  • Follow-up to collect and send monthly reports to the project officer
  • Assisting project staff to facilitate any activities needed to improve the quality of the program and respond to community needs

Educator’s Requirements

  • Nursing diploma.
  • Experience in humanitarian work. (More than one year)
