Field medical foundation (FMF)

FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio economic situation in Yemen since 2012.

Main Responsibilities

• Distributing the colorful notification paper per date and informing the beneficiaries to come to the CBT outlets through a scheduled plan.
• Doing the constant sensitization activities to the beneficiaries during the cash distribution such as:
  • The necessity of preservation on the SCOPE cards from the lost and the damaging.
  • The importance of taking the precautionary measures against COVID-19 as a mandatory factor to stop spreading the virus among the beneficiaries and avoiding overcrowdings.
  • Sensitizing the people of the amount of the cash assistance per member to avoid exposing to any exploitation.
• Assisting the disabled, women and elders to redeem the cash assistance firstly.
• Arrange disciplined queues for the men and women on the CBT outlets.
• Any other job task decided by the field supervisors to be achieved by volunteers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree Social Sciences, Economics or high school or related fields
• Experience in community mobilization and capacity building
• Less than a year community work experience, preferably related to the type of project
• Able to travel to remote rural area including overnight staying.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication verbally and in writing as well as inter-personal skills
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to field sites
• Become conversant with the various generic tools such as assessment and survey techniques and questionnaires.
