Position Summary:
The Data Management Assistant is responsible for supporting all activities related to registration, which may also include functions related to filing and data management. The Data Management Assistant may assist in compiling and analyzing information related to FFT activities in the livelihood program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability of accurate, complete, and up-to-date information required for effective project design, implementation, management, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Manage data entry works/field teams during the registration process.
  • Aggregate and maintain information from technical teams and field offices
  • Assist in the implementation of registration strategies and methodologies for the Livelihood project.
  • Conduct registration interviews when required in accordance with registration standards and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data related to all individual registration cases.
  • Collaborate with livelihood staff in the delivery of assistance and programming, including the provision of identity and entitlement documentation.
  • Assist the Data Management Officer in the preparation and implementation of project Cash distribution activities, as well as the criteria of selection of the CDP and plans.
  • Ensure that the data collection system matches donor-reporting needs (regular review for changes/ adaptations).
  • Compile and send to the donor daily Cash distribution reports, dispatch reports, and daily FFT reports.
  • Draft correspondence and reports relating to registration activities in the program, when required
  • Provide statistics and draft reports related to project data, as requested.
  • Conduct regular data quality check and clean-up;
  • Provide weekly and monthly data quality assurance reports;
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Position Requirements:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Information.
  • One-year experience in relevant experience in data and/or information management with working INGOs/NGOs in a similar position level.
  • Proficiency in English is required (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Basic knowledge of the registration process.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to develop and optimize queries.
  • Experience using analytical tools.
  • Good writing and reporting skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Train local staff and/or organize training in data management best practices.
