Field medical foundation (FMF)

FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio economic situation in Yemen since 2012.

Roles and responsibilities:

1- Choosing the appropriate stores for storing medical items  in coordination with the logistic officer according to the conditions of proper storage.

2- Cleaning and preparing the stores monthly before and after distribution process

3- Make plans to store medical items according to the plan participating by the project manager in coordination with the logistic officer.

4- Receiving medical items according to the monthly plan with medical receipts (invoices), verifying the amount, type and the expiratory date and promptly notifying the logistic officer of any damage to any material.

5- Submit monthly reports of the arrival of medical items on arrival date, quantity, quality and suitability to the logistic officer.

6 – Going to the office monthly to receive distribution needs for medical items from form reports of distribution process, stock cards for warehouses.

7- Submit monthly reports of the medical distribution process to the logistics officer.

8- Going to the office to deliver the reports after completing the distribution process for the medical items.

9- Supervising the store’s security.

10- Archiving all documents and reports related to the distribution of medical items monthly.

Requirements:

  • At least hold a general secondary qualification.
  • He has at least two years of experience in the same field.
  • Good in using computers.
  • Has the skills of organizing, managing warehouses and working under pressure.
