Title: BSFP Assistant (Roving)

Overall responsibility:

The BSFP Assistant is responsible to Oversee the implementation of project activities in nutrition (BSFP), supervising and assisting field staff to ensure the best possible nutrition services are delivered to children U5 and PLWS, Improve capacity building, skills and competencies of voluntary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the weekly/monthly reporting tasks of BSFP activities.
  • Work closely with the BSFP team to prepare monthly field visits plans to the targeted governorates.
  • Work closely with the BSFP team to facilitate the second transportation of commodities from warehouses to FDPs.
  • Monitor the distribution cycle and all its stages.
  • Collect and compile baseline information on BSFP parameters of the project areas.
  • Check the Food Distribution Points (FDPs) records, reports, and documents after each distribution cycle.
  • Guarantee the accurate FDPs distribution as submitted in the distribution dates form.
  • Regularly monitor field activities, maintain working relationships between team members and the community.
  • Assist in organizing training and exposure to improve the knowledge and skill of the project communities and volunteers to deliver high-quality community-based activities.
  • To participate in developing Community volunteer guidelines in accordance with the Ministry of health policy.
  • Document and share lessons learned, achievements, and successes from the field.
  • Monitoring and collect the monthly reports from community health volunteers, revise it, and give feedback to the field team.
  • To conduct monthly meetings with community health volunteers to discuss all related issues and to put plans for the coming period.
  • To take any other relevant task given by the supervisor

Knowledge and Experience:

A University Degree in social/behavioral sciences, (Sociology Psychology, Health, Education) with an emphasis on strategic communication for behavior development, social mobilization.

A minimum of 2 years in awareness and behavior changes projects.

Fluency in English and Arabic.

Able to communicate, work with people, and drive for results.

Analysis, planning, and organizing skills.

Ability to write reports in both English and Arabic language professionally.

Excellent computer skills and Microsoft Applications especially Excel.
