Background

FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.

Duties and Responsibilities: –

  • Focal point for information and communication needs.
  • Draft and/or check reports in compliance with specific donor
  • Assisting in preparing quarterly and annual/final progress reports for the project in cooperation with the Project Management and the project team.
  • Keep updated the distribution figures on HTS on a daily basis during the distribution period.
  • Use information from project activities and field reporting to compile quick results information products on project status, impact and success stories.
  • Ensure timely submission of CPDR and update the distribution figures on daily basis on HTS.
  • Liaise closely with all Units in order to gather and collate accurate data about the project.
  • Consolidate and analyze data on project implementation and indicators.
  • Work closely with Information Management team, where applicable, to ensure accurate and effective data presentation, graphics and maps.
  • Prepare and distribute minutes of the coordination meetings.
  • Provide guidance and support to media components of activities, as applicable.
  • Assist in the development of forms for data collection and analysis, if requested.
  • Support project staff on ways to properly document and organize.
  • Suggest ways to facilitate data collection and the flow of data within project team. .
  • Assist the PM to review the performance of existing management information systems
  • Assist the PM to ensure high quality reports are submitted on time.

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Communication, Graphic Design, Information Visualization, Journalism, or related areas.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Reporting and Data Analysis.
  • Excellent fluency in written English is required. Kurdish and/or Arabic skills are an asset.
  • Proven writing and design skills and ability to present information clearly and concisely through visual data analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to deliver reports according to strict donor requirements;
  • Knowledge of report writing software such as Microsoft Publisher or Tableau required;
  • Experience in graphic design is required.
  • Proactive, motivated, innovative and adaptable individual, who is able to take initiative;
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
