About Field Medical Foundation (FMF)
Field Medical Foundation Yemen (FMF) is a Yemeni non-governmental, non-profit humanitarian and development organization established in 2012.
With more than 13 years of experience, FMF has reached over 14.6 million people across Yemen through humanitarian and development programs addressing health, nutrition, food security, education, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), protection, and other essential needs.
FMF works directly with communities to deliver timely, inclusive, and sustainable assistance while promoting dignity, accountability, and community participation.
Humanitarian and Development Work in Yemen
FMF responds to humanitarian needs while also supporting longer-term recovery and resilience.
Its programs cover a broad range of sectors, including:

Working with Communities and Partners
FMF works closely with communities across Yemen and cooperates with UN agencies, government entities, humanitarian organizations, and other partners to support coordinated humanitarian and development responses.
The Foundation participates in key humanitarian coordination platforms, including OCHA–CBPF, AHCT, and national clusters, contributing to coordination, information sharing, and effective humanitarian programming.

FMF is certified under ISO 9001:2015, reflecting its commitment to quality management, institutional development, accountability, and continuous improvement.
The Foundation continues to strengthen its systems, staff capacity, partnerships, and operational structures to ensure effective and sustainable humanitarian and development programming.
Strategic Objectives
Within 5 years, the Foundation aims to contribute to achieving the following strategic objectives:
Saving Lives:
Reduced morbidity and mortality of crisis-affected women, girls, boys, and men through lifesaving multisectoral humanitarian assistance and developmental support.
Strengthening Resilience:
Improved living standards and resilience of crisis-affected vulnerable women, girls, boys, and men through timely, adequate and safe access with dignity to multi-sectoral response and sustainable solutions.
Supporting Peacebuilding and Risk Reduction:
Support peacebuilding activities that contribute to living together, and prevent, mitigate protection risks, and reduce negative impacts of man-made, climate change, and other natural disasters on women, girls, boys, and men through life-saving multi-sectoral preparedness and response, and building resilience.
Ensuring Institutional Sustainability:
Ensure institutional sustainability through capacity building and partnerships that can maintain the sustainability of institutional operations under all circumstances.
