Background

FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES 

  • Planning, implementing and monitoring of the activities of the project according to the procedures of SFP in district.
  • Ensure that MAM activities are appropriately implemented in the field.
  • Frequent field visits to the targeted MC in District and focal distribution point of BSFP.
  • Identify issues that need timely action and support at different levels.
  • Documentation and share lessons learned for future food security project improvement.
  • Collect monthly reports from the MC and focal distribution point and Submit monthly report on time to the governorate coordinator.
  • Lead the field activities of MAM project on a daily basis and provide daily updates of the field work.
  • Lead the team of field staff and conduct regular meetings with them and provide them with the support needed on the ground level.
  • Any other duties as required

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or any related field.
  • 2-4 Years’ experience with Nutrition program, including CMAM approach.
  • Work experience in health/nutrition programs is preferable.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Good oral and writing skills in English and Arabic.
  • Strong Microsoft package skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Power-point)
