Background
FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Perform human resources activities according to the instructions of the supervisor and FMF rules and protocols to ensure efficient department human resource support to FMF office staff in MAM project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
- Support in all stages of recruitment (post vacancies, Scheduling job interviews, reference check …ect)
- Ensure medical insurance cards are submitted to the staff, the compensation of medical insurance are completed.
- Assist in filling staff personnel documents and ensure all files are securely scanned and kept safe.
- Prepare employee offers and contracts
- Ensure new staff receive an appropriate orientation and induction with HR and all different departments.
- Ensure clearance and debriefing is carried out for exiting staff.
- Support staff development/Trainings activities.
- Follow up the attendance
- Responsible for office supplies.
- Ensure all staff have FMF ID cards with the period of validity in accordance with the employment contract.
Essential Requirements
- University degree in human resources management, business or public administration, social sciences, education or related area.
- A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, communication or related area is required.
- Ability to identify issues, formulate opinions, make conclusions and recommendations.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of human resources policies, practices and procedures is an advantage.
