JOB DESCRIPTION: 

FMF is implementing a Reproductive Health Project in four governorates (Aden, Abyan, Al Dhale’a, and Shabwah) to deliver quality Emergency Obstetrics and life-saving RH services to the beneficiaries. Junior project Assistant who is following.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Junior project Assistant will support program officer in all project related to the Reproductive health project:

This position will be responsible for following up the implementation and day to day operations related to the activities of the MOH.

  • Program Support: Assist in the implementation and coordination of ensuring adherence to project time lines and goals.
  • Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain accurate data related to the activities of the MOH. ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant protocols.
  • Awareness and Training: Support in organizing and conducting awareness campaigns and training sessions related to the activities of the MOH.
  • Assist in Conduct training for 12 IPs on LMA process and tool
  • Assist in Conduct cascade training for RH focal points and storekeepers at the district
  •      and SDPs level on the new guidelines/SOPs.
  • Assist in Strengthening Health Financing Conduct advocacy meetings with MOH and the Ministry of finance on the compact and to benefit from match fund.
  • Support Training for health providers (by MoPHP – South)
  • Documentation: Prepare reports and documentation on program activities, outcomes, and challenges, contributing to regular updates for stakeholders
  • Community Engagement: Engage with local communities to understand their needs, challenges, and aspirations, fostering a participatory approach in program planning and execution.
  • Capacity Building: Contribute to the development and implementation of capacity-building activities for individuals and communities related to activities of the MOH
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Support the monitoring and evaluation of program activities, providing input for continuous improvement and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Any other tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent academic qualification.
  • Prior experience and practical knowledge of project operations  
  • Strong communication, memorization, and teamwork skills.
  • Capacity to perform duties diligently, particularly during stressful periods.
  • Physically fit and mobile.
  • Computer skills especially in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel).
