ABOUT FMF:

The Field Medical Foundation (FMF) has been operating in Yemen for since 2012 during even the most dangerous peak of the conflict in the region. Our staff of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers are the helping hand that delivers aid from local and/or international partners to those who require it the most, in a country that was already suffering before the war. Today we have helped humanitarian aid reach the hands of more than 9 million vulnerable people in Yemen to help them not only to survive but also to rebuild their lives. We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative support to the project team.
  • Track Medication Usage: The Project Assistant should monitor and track the usage of medications within the healthcare facilities.
  • Report the collected data into a report detailing the medication consumption patterns.
  •  The Project Assistant will be responsible for submitting purchase orders for the required medications, supplies, and other healthcare-related items.
  • Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
  • Provide day-to-day support to project and thematic activities
  • Coordinate and cooperate with local authorities and community committees in the target areas
  • Assist in activities planning alongside the project.
  • Collection and preparation of graphs and visual data from field teams.
  • Assist the Project Manager in following up the activities at field level are in accordance with the plans.
  • Maintain safe and easy archiving mechanism of all project documents.
  • Handle requests for information and data related to the assigned project.
  • Support all project daily activities.
  • Support the circulation of relevant information, reports, memos and any other related document as well as with the partners and other stakeholders.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and workshops related to project activities.
  • Attend meetings of the project partners and stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Perform assigned related task by the supervisor and project management.
  • Document all the project activities
  • Undertaking project tasks delegated by the Project Manage.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor degree in Business management, medical or relevant fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in program management which include planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting as well coordination with authorities and other partners.
  • Experience in humanitarian/development field working with international partners
  • Report writing skills-Required
  • Computer literacy in MS Office-Required
  • Effective workload management skills and ability to use initiative to solve problems
  • Able to work independently and execute tasks in a reliable and competent manner
  • Strong ability to communicate with people and colleagues at different levels
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks (good time management skills)
  • Fluently spoken and written English-Required
