The Field Medical Foundation (FMF) has been operating in Yemen for since 2012 during even the most dangerous peak of the conflict in the region. Our staff of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers are the helping hand that delivers aid from local and/or international partners to those who require it the most, in a country that was already suffering before the war. Today we have helped humanitarian aid reach the hands of more than 9 million vulnerable people in Yemen to help them not only to survive but also to rebuild their lives. We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with technical officers, ensure messages are chosen in line with the health, nutrition and WASH guidelines on appropriate messaging.
- In collaboration with Senior H&N Officer, find creative ways to communicate and promote behavior change, adapting it to the context and culture.
- provide technical support and follow up on the implementation of all SBCC activities in the HFs and community and will be responsible for the field staff who will report to him/her
- Support teams in developing monthly and quarterly work plans, including messages to be prioritized and demonstrations to take place.
- Ensure beneficiary participation, feedback and accountability in all aspects of the project.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of SBCC activities to the Programme Manager.
- Prepare regular narrative reports on programme activities.
- Ensure all aspects of SBCC activities adhere to programme quality standards and policies.
- Ensure the SBCC activity implementation, monitoring and addressing all supply/materials needs for all SBCC-related activities.
- Ensure the SBCC program design, adaptation, implementation, and monitoring with program staff and technical experts in line with the project strategic plan.
- Working with the M&E staff to monitor and evaluate the progress and impact of SBCC activities.
- Conduct monthly meeting with community health volunteers to discuss all related issues and to put plan for the coming period.
- Regularly monitor field activities, maintain a working relationship between team member and community
- Design and plan for all types of Campaigns and help in conducting assessments and surveys as needed.
- Organize trainings and expect to improve knowledge and skill of the project communities and volunteers to deliver high-quality community-based activities
- Ability to conduct any other tasks assigned at the sake of project.
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in the social/behavioral sciences, (Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Communication, Public Relations and Health Promotion and Education).
- At least 2 Years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent Computer knowledge – Microsoft office programs and relevant health data base.
- Ability to multi-task, handle pressure well, flexibility, adaptability to transition.
- Ability to travel and stay for days in project’s areas.
