Job Description

Communication for the development (C4D) is an important program, which aims to promote key practices and behavior change to positive community behaviors in child protection/health/nutrition/education / and wash through the key messages of related topics.

The C4D field officer will assist the C4D Manager in implementing of C4D activities, evaluation of C4D Supervisor, mothers and Childs performance in the field, in addition to improved capacity, skills, and competencies of C4D Supervisor, volunteers, and mothers to provide quality Community education services at community levels.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the C4D Manager in Supervising the work of the coordinators in the fourth target governorates and follow up their work regularly and receive monthly reports and the work of regular feedback.
• Monthly field supervision to the targeted governorates to evaluate of mobile team workers (C4D Supervisors ) , Community volunteers and mothers performance during education , in addition to children in the sponsor a child initiative .
• Following up the implementation of the activities of the programme in the field with C4D Supervisors, mothers and child focal points during Commutation with them .
• Following up the success stories the sending from the governorates and Raising monthly to the C4D Manager .
• Collect and compile baseline information on child protection / health/ nutrition / education/ and wash parameters of the programme areas and design community based program profile.
• Keep close coordination and liaison with field team, community, and partners and assist them in developing high quality Community education.
• Assist the C4D Supervisor and mothers and child focal points in organizing community meetings, workshops, and campaigns.
• Pursue coordinators and information officials in the targeted governorates, receive monthly reports (Mothers, Sponsor a child and C4D reports )
• Develop monthly narrative achievement report compiled with statistic report to the C4D programme Manager .
• To take any other relevant task given by the C4D Programme Manager.

Job Requirements

• A University Degree in social / behavioral sciences, (Sociology Psychology, Health, Education) with an emphasis on strategic communication for behavior development, social mobilization.
• A minimum of 2 years in awareness and behavior changes projects.
• Very Good knowledge in English.
• Able to Communicate, work with people and drive for results.
• Analysis, planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to write reports in both English and Arabic language professionally.
• Be a team player and ready to collaborate with others in a positive manner.
• Honest, hardworking and committed to community development
