Field medical foundation (FMF)

FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio economic situation in Yemen since 2012.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the progress of the cash assistance distribution on the CBT outlets.
  • Reporting any violation of work procedures by cash exchange agents or one of the workers immediately.
  • implementing spot-check for the process of cash distribution and the absence of any irregularities by any party such as the deduction from the beneficiaries’ assistance.
  • Ensuring that cash distribution criteria are followed by monitoring any imbalances during the activity.
  • Timely submission of the daily cash distribution report to direct supervisor
  • Timely submission of final report after each distribution cycle to the District Coordinator and project officer.
  • Doing a PDM activity with a sample of beneficiaries at each cycle during the CBT distribution.
  • Receiving the Technical Complaints that encounter the beneficiaries during the distribution cycle and raise the issues via emails + Kobo toolbox to the project officers on a daily basis.
  • Receiving various complaints from the people who didn’t join into the targeted beneficiaries after looking into the targeting criteria and submit them to the project management.
  • Collect good materials for the success stories Quarterly that depends upon the vulnerability level.
  • Perform any other duties related to the job that may be assigned at another time by the direct supervisor as needed.

Job Requirements

  • University degree or Diploma or any other related certificate.
  • Relevant professional experience of not less than a year in similar positions.
  • Prior experience in working and/or coordinating with other international humanitarian organizations.
  • Familiarity with smart data collection tools.
  • Familiarity with Cash Transfer Programming and beneficiary’s identification would be an asset.
  • Good knowledge of Food Security concepts and principles.
  • Native Arabic – Good written and spoken English would be an asset.
  • Strong communication.
