A catastrophic war has ravaged Yemen over the past years.
Infrastructure is badly damaged, millions of people are impoverished, and more than 24 million people (80% of the population) need humanitarian aid. Children are dying on a daily basis from bombing or starvation.
The UN reports that more than two million children are malnourished, with one in two now suffering from stunted growth because of food shortages in Yemen..
