The Field Medical Foundation team met with the representative of Hadhramout governorate for the valley and desert affairs, Mr. Issam Al Kathiri, in the presence of the director-general of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation office, Mr. Abdullah Nasr, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Tamimi, deputy director of the social affairs office in Hadramout and most notably the food security as well as supplementary nutrition projects, livelihood improvement projects, and the urgent response to the displaced, which target a number of directorates of the valley and the desert.
During the meeting, the team expressed their happiness with the cooperation of the local authorities, which had the most prominent role in the success of the Foundation’s activities since it started its 2017.
For his part, the provincial deputy and members of the local authority praised the Field Medical Foundation’s projects that work to serve the people of the Hadramout valley and desert. He also expressed the local authority’s readiness to overcome all the difficulties that may face the progress of implementing the foundation’s projects in the governorate.
