Meeting in Sayoun gathered the Office of the Ministry of Public Health in Hadramout Valley and the Field Medical Foundation, discusses the results of 2017 work and 2018 work trends
a disscussion meeting held today at the office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population in Hadramout Valley and the Sahara, the Director General of the Office, Dr. Hani Khaled Al-Amoudi, and the Executive Director of the Field Medical Foundation Dr. Maha Abdul Majeed Ebadi and the accompanying team of the Foundation, discussed the organized activities and activities carried out by the Field Medical Foundation (FMF) Wadi Hadramout and the Sahara within the framework of the project funded by the World Food Program (WFP) during 2017 in the provision of medical services and community awareness of pregnant women and children under the age of five and identified cases of malnutrition through mobile field clinics and support in food security through the provision of food baskets in 7 districts in Hadramout valley and desert (Sayoun, Amd, Rakhia, Huraida, Gaf Al-Awamer, Zamakh and Manoukh).
The Director-General of the Ministry of Public Health and Population of Hadramout Wadi Al-Sahara and Dr. Hani Khaled Al-Amoudi praised the efforts of the Foundation in the health and food security through its teams in the targeted directorates, assuring the support of the Health Bureau for all efforts to all organizations and institutions working in health programs in all Directorates of Hadramout Valley and Sahara.
In her turn, the Executive Director of the Field Medical Foundation, Dr. Maha Abdul Majid Abadi, reviewed the activities of the Foundation during 2017 and the work directions of the Foundation during 2018. She explained that the number of beneficiary families in the targeted districts of the project, especially in food security, was 4267 families. spoting the light at the co-operation between the authority of directorates and project management facilitating their tasks.
At the end of the meeting, the field medical foundation honored Dr. Hani Khaled Al-Amoudi, the Ministry of Health’s office for the efforts and cooperation in the success of the Foundation’s programs during 2017.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Primary Health Care Department of the Health Bureau, Mr. Mahboob Abdul-Khair Al-Ameri, and the Director of the Nutrition Department at the Health Office Dr. Shaker Ahmed Al-Saqqaf.
