Al-Kathiri and Tamimi briefed on the project of the Food Security Program in Wadi Hadramout

The Deputy of Hadramout Governorate for the directorates of the valley and the desert Issam al-Kathiri, with Assistant Undersecretary Abdulhadi al-Tamimi, reviewed and checked today the project of food security program funded by WFB in Wadi Hadramout, which is implemented by the field medical foundation Aden.

Dr. Al-Kathiri briefed the Executive Director of the Medical Foundation Dr. Maha Abadi about the health project activities provided by the Foundation’s teams to treat children and pregnant and nursing mothers suffering from acute malnutrition.

The two directors define the objectives of the project to improve the nutritional balance of the 4267 beneficiaries, from the directorates of Hureida, Amad, Rakhiya, Al-Say’ar, Al-Gaf, Zamakh and Manokh in Wadi and desert of Hadramout

The two directors expressed their happiness with the success of the project, appraising the positive intervention of the foundation in the targeted areas, and praising the excellent treatment of the foundation’s members with the targeted citizens by the project.

The meeting was attended by Director General of the Ministry of Public Health and Population.
