Food security and livelihood support

Overview:

According to recent international reports, those who need food security and livelihoods are approximately 17.1 million Yemenis, 7 million of whom are in dire need of food and agricultural protection.
Because Yemen relies heavily on food imports to meet domestic demands, the fluctuations in food and living prices have made more Yemenis vulnerable to a critical food security situation. Rising costs and currency deterioration are putting pressure on the people’s worsening living situation due to food insecurity. The country is witnessing A sharp decline in the economy, especially in the agricultural and fisheries sectors.
