Food Security project
The current level of hunger in Yemen is unprecedented and causing severe suffering to millions of people. Despite ongoing humanitarian assistance, 16.2 million Yemenis are food insecure. Several factors, including ongoing conflict, low-income impacts, the devaluation of the Yemeni currency, and unpaid salaries, exacerbate limited access to food.
The food security project contributes to alleviating the suffering of vulnerable families and reducing the problems of malnutrition resulting from conflict and economic deterioration by meeting their basic food needs.
