Studies and research/strategic information Sectors
Research and evidence are at the heart of FMF’s work. They guide both emergency response and long-term development planning, ensuring that every intervention is timely, relevant, and impactful.
FMF’s Strategic Objective: Design, develop, and use evidence-based information to guide decision-making and create value for communities.
Our Approach: Conduct rapid assessments during crises, carry out in-depth studies for development planning, and generate actionable data that improves program quality. Share findings with partners and communities to foster learning and accountability.
Impact: In 2024, FMF published 30 studies and assessments that shaped programming decisions. Since 2017, we have produced dozens of research reports driving both humanitarian and development outcomes.
