When conflict displaces families, urgent assistance is needed within hours.
FMF’s Strategic Objective: Provide life-saving assistance to new IDPs within 72 hours of displacement.
Our Approach: Deliver ready-to-eat food, non-food items (NFIs), and dignity kits quickly to newly displaced households.
Impact: In 2024, FMF reached 2,554 households of displaced people within 72 hours. Since 2018, we have assisted hundreds of thousands through rapid response.

Immediate Assistance
Delivers essential aid to newly displaced families or crisis-affected communities within 72 hours, including ready-to-eat food, hygiene kits, and dignity kits for women and girls.

Rapid Registration and Targeting
Activation of field teams for rapid identification and registration after displacement alerts, ensuring access for those in need, including hard-to-reach areas.

Entry Point for Other Aid
The RRM serves as the first step, triggering referrals and follow-up support such as shelter, protection, supplementary food, and multi-purpose cash transfers

Protection and Mainstreaming
The RRM ensures protection through dignity, gender sensitivity, and referrals for at-risk individuals, with special attention to female-headed households, the elderly, and mainstreaming child protection.
