ABOUT FMF:
The Field Medical Foundation (FMF) has been operating in Yemen for since 2012 during even the most dangerous peak of the conflict in the region. Our staff of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers are the helping hand that delivers aid from local and/or international partners to those who require it the most, in a country that was already suffering before the war. Today we have helped humanitarian aid reach the hands of more than 9 million vulnerable people in Yemen to help them not only to survive but also to rebuild their lives. We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.

POSITION DESCRIPTION/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting the project initiation process in the targeted areas, including establishing community committees, throughout the various phases of the project.
- Supervising all activities related to the project within the district.
- Provide any required information about the targeted district and areas.
- Ensuring high-quality administrative performance and maintaining accurate and consistent records within the field level.
- Direct supervision of project activities in the field.
- Communicating with technical specialists regarding the coordination of project support and development.
- Maintain continuous communication, providing daily reports on project progress and addressing any issues related to the project implementation.
- Contributing to solutions for any field-related issues through preparing reports and implementing project activities for the project team.
- Collaborating with the project management team to identify and manage risks.
- Ensuring compliance of project with the humanitarian guidelines.
- Quality control of project activities in coordination with the evaluation and monitoring team.
- Conducting monthly monitoring visits to FDPs and other locations to ensure that activities are implemented according to requirements and the work plan.
- Ensuring that beneficiaries receive their food.
- Any other task assigned by the line manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- A university degree in any relevant field.
- Experience in community work.
- Ability to perform all tasks effectively, take responsibility, and make decisions.
- Ability to manage a field team with high efficiency and foster a spirit of teamwork.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to write and prepare reports and correspondence in a clear and concise manner.
- Understanding and knowledge of local communities.
- Commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values.
- The ability to handle pressure and stress.
