The Field Medical Foundation (FMF) has been operating in Yemen for since 2012 during even the most dangerous peak of the conflict in the region. Our staff of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers are the helping hand that delivers aid from local and/or international partners to those who require it the most, in a country that was already suffering before the war. Today we have helped humanitarian aid reach the hands of more than 9 million vulnerable people in Yemen to help them not only to survive but also to rebuild their lives. We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
FMF is implementing a new health and nutrition project in waste coast. The response focuses on providing integrated Health and Nutrition Services to the vulnerable people in Hays and Al Kawkha districts of Al Hudaydah Governorate and Al Makah and Moz’e districts in Taiz governorate. The assistance is being provided in both the host community and internally displaced persons (IDP) sites.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the availability of accurate, complete, and up-to-date information required for effective project design, implementation, management, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Aggregate and maintain information from technical and field teams.
- Develop new data collection and data analysis tools to facilitate reaching information.
- Verify data quality (completeness, timeliness), identify gaps in information management, recommend corrective actions and prepare relevant documents to include in the project.
- Conduct data collection audits to ensure that no unnecessary data collection is occurring and to ensure that all necessary data is being captured.
- Create and maintain databases and spreadsheets that meet project requirements.
- Ensure that projects and office documentation is following the policies and regulations of FMF.
- Ensure the quality of all project data collection coming from the field, including reviewing databases and reports, checking original data sources, and continuously building the capacity of the field team.
- Provide timely feedback to the team through their supervisors related to data quality issues such as accuracy and completeness so it will be corrected on time as necessary.
- Complete and share reports to project management and other applicable staff on time as per agreed deadlines.
- Responsible for data analysis and data protection following the FMF data protection protocols.
- Responsible to maintain all types of documentation for audit and another official purposes with a proper tracking system.
- Assist with statistical data when required.
- Participate in any other activity that may be required in connection with the data management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in information or data management and processing field or its equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in data management for humanitarian or development projects.
- Management roles preferably in complex emergency programs for N/INGOs.
- Applicable knowledge working with statistic databases is required; applicable knowledge with SPSS, Power-Bi, and data analysis is an advantage.
- Previous experience in Health projects is essential.
- Very good written English and ability to write good quality reports.
