POSITION SUMMARY:

The Site Supervisor will be based in the targeted districts and reports to the FFA Project Engineer of the Food Assistance for Assets and Food assistance for the training Project. The Site Supervisor is responsible for coordinating consolidating and ensuring smooth implementation of project interventions in adherence to the program management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

  1. Manage overall project activities of the Livelihood sector at the district level.
  2. Summarize, evaluate and update regularly the project per the established planning schedules.
  3. Continuous supervision of the beneficiaries of FFA project activities at the field level.
  4. Write and submit quality reports required from Project Engineer to the project management as per reporting time frames.
  5. Analyze the environment draw conclusions and make recommendations involving a range of inputs to enhance program delivery.
  6. Ensure supervisors with regular work plans are developed and implemented accordingly.
  7. Liaising with engineering and project management teams to ensure that the project design is accurate before work commences.
  8. Ensuring the delivery of all equipment needed for the project of FFA activities.
  9. Acting as the main point of communication between the main FFA beneficiaries and the project management.
  10. Managing the work schedules and safety equipment for all beneficiaries.
  11. Investigating and resolving beneficiaries’ complaints.
  12. Ensuring that safety policies are strictly adhered to.
  13. Reviewing project progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
  14. Any other duties as assigned by the Line manager.

ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The duties and responsibilities as set out above are not exhaustive and the role holder may be required to carry out additional duties within reasonableness of their level of skills and experience.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in civil engineer or agriculture engineer or any relative field in a relevant field.
  2. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
  3. Experience working within the governorate strongly preferred.
  4. Proven experience supervising field operations.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  6. The ability to work in different environmental conditions.
  7. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  8. Sound knowledge of relevant interventions.
