About FMF:

The Field Medical Foundation (FMF) has been operating in Yemen for since 2012 during even the most dangerous peak of the conflict in the region. Our staff of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers are the helping hand that delivers aid from local and/or international partners to those who require it the most, in a country that was already suffering before the war. Today we have helped humanitarian aid reach the hands of more than 9 million vulnerable people in Yemen to help them not only to survive but also to rebuild their lives. We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform regular rounds around the enclosure FMF premises to prevent any external intrusion.
  • Informed as quickly as those in danger in case of intrusion and contacted his supervisor as soon as possible with the available means of communication.
  • Open and close the gate for inputs / outputs of individuals or vehicles.
  • Weekly inventory of items in stock.
  • Keep a record of the commodities and restock the store accordingly.
  • Ensure that the store is kept clean and organized.
  • Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and
  • maintain inventory control.
  • Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Receives and inspects all incoming commodities and reconciles with the Internal Waybills.
  • Maintains records of all deliveries.
  • Receives and stores documents and Warehouse files
  • Ensure that no FMF commodities comes out of the compound without permission from logistician.
  • Report any incident occurring during the shift and, in general, report any information relating to the
  • safety of the mission.
  • Sending the weekly report for the commodities (IN and OUT).
  • Inventory of commodities in stock every week and send it to the logistic officer.
  • Inform the logistic employee of any problems encountered while working.
  • Keep the commodities in stock safe and keep them in good order.
  • Notify the logistic official when receiving the Commodities from the donor and send a detailed report on the quantities and condition of the commodities.
  • Direct supervision at the time of the process of disbursing commodities from the warehouse and
  • matching the quantities with the internal waybills.
  • Sending Monthly report for the commodities to the logistic officer.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Position requirements:

  • Ability to deal with heavy work pressure.
  • High School Certificate.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Diligent attention to detail and safety.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position with INGos.
  • Be flexible in performing his duties.
  • Inform immediately the security focal point in case of any security problem.
  • Perform other additional duties on request of the Liaison & Security Officer.
