About FMF:

The Field Medical Foundation (FMF) has been operating in Yemen for since 2012 during even the most dangerous peak of the conflict in the region. Our staff of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers are the helping hand that delivers aid from local and/or international partners to those who require it the most, in a country that was already suffering before the war. Today we have helped humanitarian aid reach the hands of more than 9 million vulnerable people in Yemen to help them not only to survive but also to rebuild their lives. We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.

Key responsibilities:

General Considerations and tasks:

  • Comply with FMF guidance and procedures particularly Code of Conduct, PSEA, Child Protection, Safety and Security, and other relevant
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of FMF MEAL systems and
  • Ensure the respect of the principle of confidentiality (especially toward beneficiaries) and not to disclose any information acquired by performing her/his
  • Report any incident or act that causes any harm to a beneficiary or to others
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other departments of the organization
  • Commit to the humanitarian principles of strict neutrality, religious and political impartiality and non-discrimination.

Information Management, data collection, entry, and analysis:

  • Assist in Establishing databases properly based on the needed information and preparing and sorting documents for data
  • Assist in Format and clean data collected (by the project/program team) and entered, highlight inconsistencies or errors in data collection and report back to the direct
  • Assist in Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete
  • Provide easy to read information with proper formatting and consolidation of accurate and quality data, and report back to the direct
  • Entering the achievement report for the worksite(s).
  • Assist in the establishment and day-to-day management of databases and monitoring
  • Assist in the development of databases & formatting documents if needed
  • Any other task assigned by the line manager.

Position requirements

  • Diploma degree in information management another relevant field.
  • Minimum of 6 months in humanitarian work “desirable” preferable in Health.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentation, etc.)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, methodical and accurate with high organizational skills
  • Honesty and integrity and able to cope with stressful situations.
  • Hardworking, disciplined and trustworthy
  • Flexibility & adaptability-Willingness to deploy to the newly liberated local government areas.
  • Basic knowledge about humanitarian principles.
