Background
FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
- Planning, implementing and monitoring of the activities of the project according to the procedures of SFP in district.
- Ensure that MAM activities are appropriately implemented in the field.
- Frequent field visits to the targeted MC in District and focal distribution point of BSFP.
- Identify issues that need timely action and support at different levels.
- Documentation and share lessons learned for future food security project improvement.
- Collect monthly reports from the MC and focal distribution point and Submit monthly report on time to the governorate coordinator.
- Lead the field activities of MAM project on a daily basis and provide daily updates of the field work.
- Lead the team of field staff and conduct regular meetings with them and provide them with the support needed on the ground level.
- Any other duties as required
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or any related field.
- 2-4 Years’ experience with Nutrition program, including CMAM approach.
- Work experience in health/nutrition programs is preferable.
- Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Good oral and writing skills in English and Arabic.
- Strong Microsoft package skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Power-point).
