Background

FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Data Registration Assistant is responsible for supporting all activities related to registration, which may also include functions related to filing and data management.

The Data Registration Assistant may assist in compiling and analyzing information related to registration activities for the beneficiaries in the livelihood program.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES 

  • Assist in the implementation of registration strategies and methodologies for the Livelihood project.
  • Conduct registration interviews when required in accordance with registration standards and guidance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and data related to all individual registration cases.
  • Identify vulnerable people and ensure timely support of them in the program.
  • Collaborate with livelihood staff in the delivery of assistance and programming, including the provision of identity and entitlement documentation.
  • Draft correspondence and reports relating to registration activities in the program, when required
  • Provide statistics and draft reports related to registration data, as requested.
  • Draft and submit reports and statistics related to registration.
  • Conduct regular data quality check and clean-up;
  • Provide weekly and monthly data quality assurance reports;
  • Provide weekly and monthly statistics on registration of livelihood project.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 Essential Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Information
  • Previous job experiences relevant to the function.
  • Basic knowledge of the registration process.
  • Good knowledge of handling confidential and statistical data.
  • Good computer skills, particularly in data entry and management.
  • Working knowledge of English.
  • Experience in international organization / INGOs.
