Background
FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.
Under UNHCR partnership and funds, FMF is implementing a protection project entitled: ‘Provision of life-saving protection services to IDPs and conflict affected PoCs in south Yemen’ to respond and address the protection needs of IDPs, Returnees and conflict-affected community in South Al-Hudaydah, Al-Dhale’e, and Abyan.
Key responsibilities:
- Sweep and mop floors & clean service restrooms with mops and disinfectants
- Clean windows, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
- Dust furniture, walls, equipment and scrub all surfaces clean
- Keep a check on cleaning materials and re-order via the manager
- Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping and cleaning surfaces
- Identify and report possible repairs, maintenance issues, or security issues
- Any other duties & tasks assigned
- Arranging for training, workshops, and meeting.
Position requirements
- Ability to deal with heavy work pressure.
- Minimum secondary school
- Experience 1 year in a similar position
- Able to prioritize
- Work independently & within a team
- Diligent in work processes
- Flexible in schedule, attitude and work prioritization.
