Job Title: Logistics officer

Location: Aden

Project objective: 

To contribute the reduction of the food insecurity of war-affected households in Aden governorate by improving their food consumption and provide a balanced and nutritious food intakes

Main duties and responsibilities:-

• Participate in collect quotations for all purchases in accordance with FMF policy/standards and make sure to analyze them as appropriately as required.
• Assist in planning, designing and distribution of the food voucher.
• Conduct market assessment
• Undertake field visits to food security project sites to provide logistical assistance.
• Deal with traders directly to manage all  process of voucher making and beneficiaries accessing process.
• Conduct price-monitoring assessment.
• Manage the Food vouchers Distribution Points
• Submit monthly/weekly reports to the project manager
• Any other tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 2 years’ work experience in the field of logistics
• Very good computer skills
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work during weekends and official holidays when required
