His\/her primary role will be to provide technical guidance and programmatic supervision of project staff in day-to-day management of all aspects of the protection project.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><strong>Technical Oversight and Management of Protection project<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Assess protection needs, identify problems\/gaps, and propose\/prioritize timely practical actions to respond to particular protection problems.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Ensure that data collection and information management systems are in place for appropriate analysis, planning, evaluation, and advocacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><strong>Monitoring, Reporting, and Development:\u00a0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Undertake quality control and site monitoring to ensure that services provided are according to best practice standards.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Monitor the establish of the community base protection networks<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Support implementation and ensure adherence to grant work plans, spending plans and monitoring and evaluation plans.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Prepare and maintain\/update detailed project specific work plan(s) to ensure that stated goals and objectives are met within the overall grant timeline and budget<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Provide direction and monitor staff in their implementation of the work plan and quality of technical activities, share relevant information and direction to improve quality and achieve timelines<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Ensure all monitoring activities are fully documented, including systematic and timely data collection.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Monitor the monthly salaries of the team.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Write donor and management reports on protection projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><strong>Team management: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Directly supervise Project\u00a0 M&amp;E Officer ,Protection officers ,IMO and indirectly the entire protection team.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Conduct recruitment of technical staff as needed.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Set clear objectives for protection team and do timely performance evaluations.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Continuously update project documentation and files.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Develop staff capacities on protection issues, participatory protection assessments, monitoring and inclusion of vulnerable groups though training, mentoring and coaching.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><strong>Coordination and Representation:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Share relevant project information with stakeholders (UNHCR , Protection cluster \u2026etc)<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Participate in general protection coordination meetings.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Coordinate with UNHCR, UNICEF, protection NGOs, and other key stakeholders on the provision of protection services for refugees and IDPs and relevant contingency planning.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Coordinate with the Protection cluster on issues relevant to the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><strong>Reporting\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">The Protection Manager is responsible of monthly reports, final technical reports, and any other relevant reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><strong>PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">University or graduate degree.<\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\">Minimum of three years&#8217;
