{"id":4485,"date":"2022-05-25T12:38:44","date_gmt":"2022-05-25T12:38:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/?p=4485"},"modified":"2022-05-25T12:38:44","modified_gmt":"2022-05-25T12:38:44","slug":"project-assistant-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/project-assistant-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Assistant (1)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Title: Project Assistant (1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job location: Taiz<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nReport to:<\/strong><strong> Health and Nutrition program coordinator.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Status of Position : Short Contract<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline: 31\/05\/2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Background<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the programs and projects coordinator to coordinate the implementation of the COVID-19 project as well as assist the team to plan, prepare and conduct the project activities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that project activity and outputs are implemented promptly.<\/li>\n<li>To technically mentor and supervise the Junior Community Mobilizers working under his supervision as well as carry out staff performance to ensure high-quality reports are submitted promptly and work closely with the programs and projects coordinator to ensure reports meet donor requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain contacts with all relevant stakeholders including government, security forces, partner organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Cooperate with government institutions, non-government organizations, and the local community.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly share information on lessons learned in the field.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct project team coordination meetings on a weekly and monthly basis and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to the project management.<\/li>\n<li>Work with affected communities and establish close relationships with them.<\/li>\n<li>Any other task assigned by the line manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Job Requirements: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, or any other relevant fields.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years in humanitarian work \u201cdesirable\u201d preferable in Health.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and team-building skills and excellence as a team player.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentation, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of responsibility, methodical and accurate with high organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Honesty and integrity and able to cope with stressful situations.<\/li>\n<li>Hardworking, disciplined and trustworthy<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility &amp; adaptability-Willingness to deploy to the newly liberated local government areas.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge about humanitarian principles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>How to Apply:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates are requested to submit their application by (<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/NNJAt9ujPgNUqYFB8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clicking Here<\/a>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: Project Assistant (1) Job location: Taiz Report to: Health and Nutrition program coordinator.
