Sayoun Office<br \/>\nReport to:<\/strong><strong> Deputy program coordinator <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline: 29\/05\/2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Background<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.<\/p>\n<p>FMF will implement a UNHCR funded project entitled: \u2018Camp Coordination and camp management to IDPs who settled in the camps in Wadi Hadhramaut to manage and address the gaps and needs and ensure a better life for the IDPs in the site with dignity and all basic life needs<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties and responsibilities <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Facilitating community participation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Establish &amp; train community site committees ensuring that all groups are represented including women and the disabled.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Monitor sites to identify needs, gaps in service provision, and duplication of efforts at IDP sites.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Plan, support, and organize social cohesion building activities at IDP sites.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Identifying and implementing opportunities for community engagement and community ownership in site management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Population monitoring and data collection:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Establish and maintain networks of key people in IDP sites.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Report site movement to designated FMF focal point.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Ensure the timely registration of IDPs, including identification of protection related needs.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Maintain a comprehensive database of service and needs related information for each site.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Draft weekly situation reports and provide other relevant information on site conditions and services\/<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Provide, document, and track timely referrals and service requests to key partners.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Conduct assessments and data collection exercises including supervising casual labour.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Support other teams in conducting multi-sectorial assessments of IDP needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Representation of site management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Represent FMF with communities, local authorities, site partners, and other stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Build and maintain mutually respectful relationships with service providers, local authorities, IDP community members as well as\u00a0 host community members.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Foster collaborative relationships with local authorities to facilitate implementation of activities.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Attend and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, such as local authorities, NGOs, INGOs, and IDPs, including\u00a0a provision of meeting minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Distribution, WASH and Shelter:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Provide non-technical supervision and oversight of WASH and Shelter activities including assessments and beneficiary consultations.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Prepare for and conduct distributions in line with standard distribution procedures ensuring organized and safe distribution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Capacity building:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Support the CCCM team in organizing capacity building trainings for local authorities and partners.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Train site committees in site monitoring and use of FMF monitoring tools.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Actively participate in development and implementation of protection and gender mainstreaming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in civil engineering, logistics etc.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum two years of experience in international and\/or local NGO;
