{"id":4365,"date":"2022-01-06T20:56:47","date_gmt":"2022-01-06T20:56:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/?p=4365"},"modified":"2022-01-06T20:56:47","modified_gmt":"2022-01-06T20:56:47","slug":"field-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/field-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Field Officer (Amendment)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Position: Field <\/strong><strong>Officer (Amendment)<\/strong><strong><br \/>\nJob location:<\/strong>\u00a0 Aden\\Lahj (1)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline: 15\/01\/2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong>: &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the project officer to coordinate the implementation of food security project as well as assist the team to plan, prepare and conducting distributions of food and cash.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that project activities and outputs are implemented in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>To technically mentor and supervise Assistant food Security Officers working under his supervision as well as carry out Staff performance Ensure high quality reports are submitted in a timely manner and work closely with the project officer to ensure reports meet donor requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Break down the annual operational plans into weekly, monthly and quarterly implementation plans.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain contacts with all relevant stakeholders including government, security forces, partner organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Cooperate with government institutions, non-government organizations, and the local community.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly attend cluster coordination and other relevant meetings; \u2022 Represent the project\/program in front of relevant stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly share information on lessons learnt in the field.<\/li>\n<li>conduct project team coordination meeting on weekly and monthly basis and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to the project management.<\/li>\n<li>Work with affected communities and establish close relationships with them;<\/li>\n<li>Supervise enumerators during distributions and in the process of data collection.<\/li>\n<li>Report security incidences in the field in a timely manner to the Security officer.<\/li>\n<li>Report any incidences related to protection of IDPs and host-communities to the management.<\/li>\n<li>Any other task assigned by the line manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree in social sciences, international relations, economic or any similar diploma<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years in humanitarian work \u201cdesirable\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Previous food security project work experience<\/li>\n<li><em>Personal requirements<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and team-building skills and excellence as a team player.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentation etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of responsibility, methodical and accurate with high organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Honesty and integrity and able to cope with stressful situations.<\/li>\n<li>Hardworking, discipline and trustworthy<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility &amp;
