{"id":4244,"date":"2021-10-27T10:57:06","date_gmt":"2021-10-27T10:57:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/?p=4244"},"modified":"2021-10-27T10:57:06","modified_gmt":"2021-10-27T10:57:06","slug":"store-keeper-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/store-keeper-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Store Keeper (1)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Store Keeper (1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Abyan governorate- Zingibar district.<br \/>\n<strong>Period:<\/strong>\u00a06 months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project reporting to<\/strong>: Logistic officer<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline:<\/strong> 02-11-2021<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Background<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Position Overview:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FMF is implementing Health, Nutrition and C4D project in Abyan governorate in Zingiber district to deliver quality life-saving services for Zingiber district host and IDP communities. Under the direct management of Log Assistant, the storekeeper manages receipt, storage, safe-keeping and delivery of goods, materials, tools and equipment used by FMF.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities and Deliverables <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor the storage facilities and infrastructure both from inside and outside: locate damages and propose the necessary repairs<\/li>\n<li>Supervise cleaning and regular disinfection of storage spaces<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adequate ventilation of the spaces<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the quality of products at the time of receipt. Put aside non-compliant or infected products and report to the logistics assistant<\/li>\n<li>Regularly monitor the quality of products during storage. Pay special attention to expiration dates<\/li>\n<li>In conjunction with the Log-Admin Assistant, make provisions for the staff and necessary equipment for loading \/ unloading<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the team of daily workers charged with storage activities<\/li>\n<li>Draft or complete dispatch and receipt documents in compliance with FMF standards<\/li>\n<li>Monitor incoming and outgoing equipment<\/li>\n<li>Maintain updated inventory lists, and all other related stock documents.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in monthly inventories of stored goods and equipment and reconciliation with what should be in stock<\/li>\n<li>Update stock Report on daily bases and sent to the line manager at the end of each month.<\/li>\n<li>Draft activity and inventory reports and forward them to the line manager<\/li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Secondary school diploma.<\/li>\n<li>Vocational training in administration or logistics, or equivalent experience.<\/li>\n<li>Good command of English.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum one years&#8217; experience in storekeeping.<\/li>\n<li>Team-management experience an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge on Office package: Excel, Word<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>How to Apply<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates are requested to submit their application by (<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/jcxNnLTSiqKsXrnt9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here<\/a>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Store Keeper (1) Location:\u00a0Abyan governorate- Zingibar district.
