{"id":4122,"date":"2021-05-27T08:11:35","date_gmt":"2021-05-27T08:11:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/?p=4122"},"modified":"2021-05-27T08:11:35","modified_gmt":"2021-05-27T08:11:35","slug":"community-mobilizer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/community-mobilizer\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Mobilizer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Name Job :<\/strong><strong>\u00a0 Community Mobilizer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline<\/strong>\u00a0: 2\/6\/2021<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location: \u00a0Shoqra \\ Abyan<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Field medical foundation (FMF)<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the overall implementation the program.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the identification of communities in the targeted Governorates.<\/li>\n<li>Mapping of targeted communities to identify volunteers, community leaders, leading NGOs and businesses, schools, health centers, youth centers and governmental institutions and other assets.<\/li>\n<li>To identify and follow up with other partners \/ stakeholders to address community needs.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in organizing and facilitating community meetings in each of the targeted communities<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the design process of implementation and follow up of community projects.<\/li>\n<li>Assist prospective grantees in preparing responsive applications<\/li>\n<li>Organize and facilitate capacity building interventions<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings with partners and stakeholders in the targeted communities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and prepare photos and reports on all sessions, meetings and site visits<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a good relationship with the government institutions and municipalities.<\/li>\n<li>Submit and update required reports by the deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Participate and engage in any trainings and meetings as requested by supervisor;<\/li>\n<li>Work with gender team to ensure effective integration and mainstreaming of gender into all program activities.<\/li>\n<li>Any other tasks assigned by supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Job Requirements <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<table width=\"660\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"660\">\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Sociology, Social Work or any related field, with significant course components in either community development, social work, communications, or post-secondary education and training with significant prior experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"660\">\n<ul>\n<li>1-year experience in community development and\/or mobilization, demand-driven projects, participatory planning and rural\/community development.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and communication skills and teamwork-oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, problem solving and organization skills.<\/li>\n<li>Able to set clear goals and develop plans to work towards as a team.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in written and verbal English and Arabic is required.
