Field medical foundation (FMF)<\/strong><\/span>
\nFMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security, and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n

Overall responsibility:<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe MEAL Assistant will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring high quality and timely inputs, and for ensuring that the supplementary feeding program maintains its strategic vision and that its activities result in the achievement of its intended outputs in a cost-effective and timely manner. The MEAL assistant will be responsible for assisting the MEAL officer in preparing monthly \/Quarterly\/final reports on project progress and will monitor the project activities on a regular basis, developing and maintaining the MIS of the Project and will be responsible for the collection & analysis of different data in relation to the project activities.<\/span>
\nDuties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u2022 Develop and strengthen monitoring, inspection, and evaluation procedures.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Monitor all project activities, expenditures, and progress towards achieving the project output.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Recommend further improvement of the logical framework.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Conduct regular field visits throughout the project implementation period as required, in order to support and\/or supervise the activities of the project.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Develop monitoring and impact indicators for project success.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Monitor and evaluate overall progress on the achievement of results.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Monitor the sustainability of the project’s results.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Provide feedback to the MEAL Officer on project strategies and activities.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Suggest strategies to Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Report monthly on all project activities to the MEAL officer and deputy manager.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Conduct capacity assessment on existing monitoring and evaluation system, and develop indicators and a monitoring strategy for the project.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Provide inputs, information, and statistics for quarterly, final, and other reports to Project officers and deputies.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the project.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Assist in coordinating across the available components of the Project to ensure effective implementation of MEAL\/MIS.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Assist the project personnel with MEAL tools and in supporting them in their use.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Assist in the preparation of monthly MIS reports.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Assist the MEAL Officer in preparing other relevant reports.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Assist MEAL Officer in the preparation of reports on the findings and lessons learned from project innovations.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Assist MEAL Officer in preparing monthly and quarterly reports on project progress based on MIS reports on project activities.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Prepare and maintain the MEAL database.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Perform other duties as required<\/span>
\nKnowledge and Experience:<\/strong><\/span>
\n\u2022 A University Degree in medicine or a relevant field to medicine will be an asset.<\/span>
\n\u2022 A minimum of 2 years’ experience in MEAL.<\/span><\/p>\n
