{"id":3704,"date":"2020-10-13T08:04:48","date_gmt":"2020-10-13T08:04:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/?p=3704"},"modified":"2020-10-13T08:04:48","modified_gmt":"2020-10-13T08:04:48","slug":"logistics-assistant-roving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/logistics-assistant-roving\/","title":{"rendered":"Logistics Assistant (roving)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Title: Logistics Assistant (roving)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Work-based on: Aden<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Deadline : 20 Oct 2020<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Field medical foundation (FMF)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security, and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Main duties and responsibilities:-<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Collect quotations for all purchases in accordance with FMF policy\/standards and make sure to analyze them as appropriately as required.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Assist in the delivery of items to the FMF warehouses or targeted places and make sure the proper documentation of warehouse papers.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Coordinate all daily project activities at the targeted districts.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Responsible for overseeing and monitoring asset management and updating asset list as required<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Develop logistics along with support plans, budget requirements, and deployment timelines for new operations.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Prepare plans for liquidation and downsizing.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Design and develop standard operating methods to manage logistics operations efficiently.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Develop reports in any operational logistics problems.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Involve in technical survey missions for new assignments.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Participate in project implementation in collaboration with the relevant staff<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Submit monthly\/weekly reports to the project manager and M&amp;E Officer<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Any other tasks as required<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Bachelor&#8217;s degree in a related field<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 A minimum of two years\u2019 experiences in a similar position<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 good computer skills<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Arabic)<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Competencies:<\/strong> <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Ability to work under pressure<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 Willingness to work during weekends and official holidays when required<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applicants should send a CV and covering letter, both in English, to Field Medical Foundation ( jobs@fmfyemen.org )<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">with the title of the position you are applying for in the subject of email.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Title: Logistics Assistant (roving) Work-based on: Aden Deadline : 20 Oct 2020 Field medical foundation (FMF) FMF is a non-profit &#8230;
