Given that a child with severe acute malnutrition is 11 times more at risk of death than a healthy child, preventing, detecting and treating malnutrition among children and improving IYCF practices are essential life-saving interventions that will contribute significantly to reducing the impact of the ongoing conflict on children in Yemen. Due to the current situation, FMF is proposing a project that aims to detect, prevent and treat acute malnutrition among the most vulnerable population (children under five \u2018 land pregnant and lactating women (PLW) .<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Support M&amp;E Officer in creating a framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities..<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Assist in developing projects indicator trackers and MEAL plans in cooperation with MEAL Officer.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Support the M&amp;E Officer in defining and implementing the key project performance indicators as well as monitoring them throughout the duration of the projects..<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Assist to Review the performance of existing management information systems to help identify \u200egaps and impedances.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Perform regular field visits to ensure the quality of data collected and to verify the accuracy of reported data. \u200e<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Assist to Ensure high quality MEAL reports are submitted on time.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u200e<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Assist to Maintain a proper electronic and hard archiving system of all related MEAL documents &amp; Project Documents.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Assist in verification of data and complaints and provide advice.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Perform other relevant tasks as requested by the MEAL Officer.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Qualification:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2-3 years of relevant work experience preferably in health &amp;Nutrition Projects, including M&amp;E Capacity<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Experience with Field level Coordination with government , Stakeholders and others ..<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Very good communication skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Extremely flexible, and have the ability to cope with stressful situation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, statistics analysis experience on evaluation of data, as well as, experience in updating data indicator in web system;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>How to Apply :<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Applicants should send a CV and covering letter, both in English, to Field Medical Foundation ( <strong>jobs@fmfyemen.org<\/strong> ) with the title of the position you are applying for in the subject of email.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: M&amp;E Assistant.
