{"id":3039,"date":"2019-04-16T07:11:46","date_gmt":"2019-04-16T07:11:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/?p=3039"},"modified":"2019-04-16T07:11:46","modified_gmt":"2019-04-16T07:11:46","slug":"job-vacancy-food-security-field-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/job-vacancy-food-security-field-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Job Vacancy :Food Security Field Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"grid-100 tablet-grid-100 grid-parent\">\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Project name<\/strong>\u00a0: Provision of General Food Assistance for IDPs<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Work based on:<\/strong>\u00a0Taiz<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Job title<\/strong>\u00a0:\u00a0 Food security field officer<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Duration<\/strong>\u00a0: 10 months<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\"><strong>Deadline:<\/strong><\/span> 23 April 2019<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">FMF is implementing general food Assistance project targeting Conflict Affected Populations in Aden ,Lahj and Taiz governorates through providing food assistances in duration of 10 months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Main duties and responsibilities<\/strong>:-<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lead the process of beneficiary selection as per the criteria set by the project in Al Mokha district \/Taiz governorate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Community mobilization through establish community committees and coordinate with local authorities of the targeted district.<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Conduct frequent field visit<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Prepare and submit regular internal reports on all food security \u00a0activities and prepare external reports as per the donor format<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Build capacity of beneficiaries of food security related activities<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Conduct market assessment in taiz governorate.<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Participate in food security related assessment missions<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Participate in baseline and end line assessment<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Working with M&amp;E assistant in monitoring activities specially during voucher distribution and conducting PDM<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Capture lessons learned from monitoring and evaluations, document success stories, and replicate successful projects and scale up.<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Conduct rapid assessment to identify specific operational village and carry out food security need assessments<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Organizing tender for food supply.<\/span><\/li>\n<li dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Design and print IEC material and banner<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"LTR\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>SKILLS &amp;
