Given that a child with severe acute malnutrition is 11 times more at risk of death than a healthy child, preventing, detecting and treating malnutrition among children and improving IYCF practices are essential life-saving interventions that will contribute significantly to reducing the impact of the ongoing conflict on children in Yemen. Due to the current situation, FMF is proposing a project that aims to detect, prevent and treat acute malnutrition among the most vulnerable population (children under five &#8216; land pregnant and lactating women (PLW) ).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Overall responsibility:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Improved capacity, skills and competencies of C4D Supervisor and volunteers and to provide quality Community education services at community levels.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Duties and Responsibilities:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Assist the C4D Manager in Supervising the work of the coordinators in the three target governorates and follow up their work regularly and receive monthly reports and the work of regular feedback.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Monthly field supervision to the targeted governorates to evaluate of mobile team workers (C4D Supervisors ) and Community Volunteers Performance during education.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Collect and compile baseline information on child protection \/ health\/ nutrition \/ education\/ and wash parameters of the programme areas and design community based program profile.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 With coordination with C4D supervisors develop clear work plan for community education activities, and share it with community volunteers and the stakeholders from public health sector.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Lead and facilitate the field teams in implementing the work plan in the ground.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Keep close coordination and liaison with field team, community, and partners and assist them in developing high quality Community education.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Assist the C4D Supervisor in organizing community meetings, workshops, and campaigns.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Take lead in resolution and management of the relevant community conflicts over common issues related with the programme .<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Regularly monitor field activities, maintain working relationship between team member and community.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Design and plan for all type of Campaigns and assist in conducting assessment and surveys as needed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Organize trainings and exposure to improve knowledge and skill of the program communities and volunteers to deliver high quality community based activities.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 To participate in developing Community volunteer guidelines in accordance with Ministry of health policy.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Document and share lesson learnt, achievements and successes from the field.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 To collect the monthly reports from C4D Supervisor, revise them and provide feed back to the field team.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Develop monthly narrative achievement report compiled with statistic report to the C4D programme Manager .<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 To conduct monthly meeting with C4D Supervisor to discuss all related issues and to put plan for the coming period.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Conduct frequent field visits to the targeted locations and provide a report with the outcome of the visits.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 To take any other relevant task given by the C4D Programme Manager .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Knowledge and Experience:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 A University Degree in social \/ behavioral sciences, (Sociology Psychology, Health, Education) with an emphasis on strategic communication for behavior development, social mobilization.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 A minimum of 2 years in awareness and behavior changes projects.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Very Good knowledge in English.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Able to Communicate, work with people and drive for results.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Analysis, planning and organizing skils.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Ability to write reports in both
