About The Project<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n According to 2019 Humanitarian Needs , acute malnutrition among children under the age of 5 is estimated at just over 2 million children, including nearly 360,000 Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) cases. Given that a child with severe acute malnutrition is 11 times more at risk of death than a healthy child, preventing, detecting and treating malnutrition among children and improving IYCF practices are essential life-saving interventions that will contribute significantly to reducing the impact of the ongoing conflict on children in Yemen. \n\u2022 Provide CMAM services among vulnerable groups (U5, PLW) together with the OTP worker <\/span>
\n\u2022 Provide primary health care services (OPD, IMCI, EPI, RH) according to the standard guideline that prescribed in ministry of health, UNICEF, and WHO.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Conduct clinical examination of all patients especially children under 5 years old with signs of Acute Malnutrition. <\/span>
\n\u2022 Prescribe routine and basic treatments according the protocol used in respecting the drug dosage based on the weight of the patient.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Regular follow-up of the severe and Moderate cases of Malnutrition together with OTP worker.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Regular Supervision on CHVs activities in the targeted district.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Assist in Providing the expanded program of immunization services through apply routine and booster vaccination to targeted children. <\/span>
\n\u2022 Conduct the regular check and report the statistics to FMF on weekly basis.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Submit regular supply request to the governorate coordinator.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Submit Success stories of project activities on regular basis <\/span>
\n\u2022 Work in collaboration with the Team to ensure the quality medical care, taking in consideration the non-medical problems encountered by the patients (feeding and caring problems etc.) <\/span>
\n\u2022 Provide the needed assistance and supervision to the mobile team on health and nutrition issues <\/span>
\n\u2022 Conduct any other duties related to the project activities as assigned by the direct supervisor<\/span><\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Able to prepare plans, reports, Success Stories, and leadership skills.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Very good communication skills <\/span>
\n\u2022 Extremely flexible, and have the ability to cope with stressful situation<\/span>
\n\u2022 good level in English (writing in particular)<\/span>
