Our staff of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers are the helping hand that delivers aid from local and\/or international partners to those who require it the most, in a country that was already suffering before the war. Today we have helped humanitarian aid reach the hands of more than 9 million vulnerable people in Yemen to help them not only to survive but also to rebuild their lives. We aim to provide a comprehensive approach to providing aid through interventions, which is why we work in almost all sectors of international emergency relief.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><u>POSITION SUMMARY<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The Child Protection (CP) Social Worker will be responsible for delivering case management and psychosocial support services within Safe Healing and Learning Spaces (SHLS). The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and supporting vulnerable children, ensuring timely referrals, and strengthening child protection systems at community level in coordination with relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><u>MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>CP Case Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Identify and register vulnerable children, including those at risk of abuse, neglect, violence, exploitation, and other protection concerns.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Conduct safe and confidential case assessments and develop individualized care plans.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Provide ongoing follow-up and monitor progress of CP cases.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Ensure proper documentation of all case management processes in line with CP standards.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Provide structured individual and group psychosocial support sessions for children.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Facilitate emotional well-being activities to strengthen resilience and coping mechanisms.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Support children in safe spaces to enhance their sense of protection and stability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Referral and Coordination:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Identify protection and service needs and refer cases to relevant service providers (health, legal, education, GBV services, etc.).<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Follow up on referrals to ensure timely access to services.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Coordinate closely with CP case workers, facilitators, and other sector actors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Child Safeguarding and Protection:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Ensure all activities comply with child safeguarding and protection principles.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Maintain confidentiality and uphold the best interests of the child at all times.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Identify and report safeguarding concerns according to established protocol.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Reporting and Documentation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Report directly to the CP CM Assistant.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Work in close coordination with SHLS teams, and CP facilitators.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Participate in regular coordination meetings and field planning sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><a><strong><u><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:<\/mark><\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Bachelor\u2019s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Minimum 2\u20133 years of experience in child protection or psychosocial support programming.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Strong understanding of CP case management and safeguarding principles.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Ability to work in sensitive and challenging environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Core Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Child safeguarding and protection ethics<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Confidentiality and survivor-centered approach<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Teamwork and coordination<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Accountability and professionalism<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">Strong community engagement skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\"><strong><u>NOTE:<\/u> Applicants are requested to apply as soon as possible;
