{"id":13783,"date":"2022-05-25T12:49:02","date_gmt":"2022-05-25T12:49:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/?p=4488"},"modified":"2022-05-25T12:49:02","modified_gmt":"2022-05-25T12:49:02","slug":"community-mobilizer-2-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fmfyemen.org\/en\/community-mobilizer-2-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Junior Community Mobilizer (2)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Title: Junior Community Mobilizer (2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job location: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Al-Mudafar District, Taiz Governorate.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Al-Misrakh District, Taiz Governorate. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Status of Position : Short Contract.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Report to:<\/strong><strong> Project Assistant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Deadline: 31\/05\/2022<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Background<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FMF is a non-profit and non-governmental organization aiming to provide health, nutrition, food security and protection services as a humanitarian response to the escalating socio-economic situation in Yemen since 2012.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in the overall implementation of the program.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the identification of communities and the affected population in the targeted district.<\/li>\n<li>Mapping of targeted communities to identify volunteers, community leaders, leading NGOs and businesses, schools, health centers, youth centers, and governmental institutions.<\/li>\n<li>To identify and follow up with other partners\/stakeholders to address community needs.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in organizing and facilitating community meetings in each of the districts.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the design process of implementation and follow-up of health and food security projects.<\/li>\n<li>Assist prospective grantees in preparing responsive applications<\/li>\n<li>Organize and facilitate capacity building interventions<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings with partners and stakeholders in the targeted communities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and prepare photos and reports on all sessions, meetings and site visits<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a good relationship with the government institutions and municipalities.<\/li>\n<li>Submit and update required reports by the deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Participate and engage in any pieces of training and meetings as requested by the supervisor;<\/li>\n<li>Work with the gender team to ensure effective integration and mainstreaming of gender into all program activities.<\/li>\n<li>Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Job Requirements:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>prior experience A degree in Sociology, Social Work, or any related field and preferred experience in health and food security.<\/li>\n<li>1-year experience in community development and\/or mobilization.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and communication skills and teamwork-oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills.<\/li>\n<li>Able to set clear goals and develop plans to work towards as a team.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in written and verbal English and Arabic is required.
